A Little About Me
Hello! I am Esra, a visual designer currently living in San Diego. Prior to moving here I had the opportunity to work with amazing companies (large & small) in New York City on a broad range of projects including Brand Identity, Marketing Collateral, Digital Ads, Infographics, Email Newsletters & Microsites, Print Design, Illustration, Web Design and WordPress Customization.
I love creating beautiful, thoughtful, and engaging design solutions. I have a clean, sophisticated design aesthetic with a thorough understanding of typography, layout and color.
Lately, working in-house for a not-for-profit organization, I have been focusing on helping them communicate their stories that are heavy in text and data through visually impactful, easily digestible infographics.
Prior to infographics while working for Scholastic, a children’s publishing company, I had the opportunity to work on co-branded educational materials for grades K–12 which explains my colorful portfolio pieces.
My new passion is UI Design where I enjoy the challenge of creating an effective user interface that is both visually appealing and easy to use.

Design Skills
UI Design
Design wireframes, low fidelity & high fidelity mockups and building an interactive prototype using Figma.
Print Design + Production
Create engaging layouts for a broad range of print projects including educational materials, brochures, flyers, stationeries and more. Knowledge of setting up files for production.
Digital Design
Design websites, landing pages, email newsletters and digital ads. Familiarity with HTML, CSS and WordPress.
Branding
Strong knowledge of brand development and creation of brand identity. Ability to design with pre-established guidelines and maintain consistency across all mediums.
Infographics
Design impactful infographics with the ability to illustrate simple vector graphics, charts and icons.
Art Direction
Generate and execute designs from concept development through finished product across all platforms. Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
